I understand that code is not rewritten every time there is an operating system update. That would be crazy, but couldn't the code be working at least one time before it gets out of support. I have used windows starting with version 1 demo and version 2 final. And while most have been fairly good each version has been a little worse than the previous version. The problem that are fixed in one version should not be problems if you are reusing code. Then there is bloatware, windows is almost...
