Wifi 6 network Tortoise Speeds

At a loss. Wifi 6 router transferring files between a Win10 and Win11 machine. Wifi 6 adapters on both computers. Internet speeds are much faster than the transfer speeds between the two machines. For instance, a 50 megabyte file takes over a minute to copy. Understand it is tough to diagnose with such limited information, but if I am missing something obvious, please advise. Thank you.
