I have an IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH7 which won't go above 60fps when plugged in

It's always been this way, but it's getting annoying now. Whenever it's unplugged I can get 120fps consistently but the moment I put it on charge it gets capped at 60fps, how do I fix this, if I can
