I am confused about my activation problem

I just switched out my windows 10 motherboard and CPU in order to upgrade to windows 11. It was a W10 digital license. Now there is a glitch and Activation for Windows 10 can not link my digital license. I tried many things recommended by prompts. Then, I may have made the mistake of removing the old version of this computer in my MS account. I thought the license would then be available for the new upgraded computer.
