Created a new PC system, but my old key doesn't work

I've had for a few years a Windows 8.1 key that I use on my own next systems, swapping them relatively regularly. However, when I tried to do that on the newest one, I get error 0x803FA067, saying I don't have a valid digital license or product key. My key is valid as I copy-paste it from my purchase order email. I thought it is because my account Devices was still seeing some old machines, which I removed one of them from there, but this didn't help. What is more frustrating is when I try...
