Hello & thank you in advance guys.
I am building a i7 14700k build right now.
I was recommended a Z790 MSI Tomohawk motherboard here on the forums, which I very much like but they are sold out & I have a Asus Strix RTX3090 graphics card, I want to pair it with a Strix Motherboard but I want to save some money.
The Asus ROG Strix Z690 - E is on sale right now at 240 Euro's while the Tomohawk is ether sold out or they want around the same price for it..
The ROG Z970 is 300+ Euros which I can't justify buying right now.
Should I just get the ROG Z690 Mobo instead or get a cheaper Z790 board? In my personel opinion its worth buying the Asus ROG Z690 - e, but I may be missing something.
I know the board only runs up to 6400hz Ram & Needs the bios update which I'm ok with.
Maybe someone on here has some experience with these 2 boards?
Thank you very much
